Birthday fun and Raggedy Ann

Okay, so I think I have gotten the hang of this cheese, click, plug, load, fix, upload, blog! process. The key is that you actually HAVE to do it. Lilah is changing so much every day. It is amazing to see, especially looking back over pictures of the last year. I have pictures from my phone that I need to upload as well, but that is just one more step since I actually have to start up my mac.

Tonight Lilah took her first steps... she was actually pretty mad, because all she wanted was for me to hold her, and I kept putting her back to walk to me! That only worked once...

So, here are a few pictures of the Princess Lilah household:

Here is Lilah in her first hammock. The Daddy Hammock.

Looks like mom got ahold of the camera while I was away running a few errands. This picture is one of her favorites - she got it from her grandpa, my great grandpa Woody. My grandma Sue even remembers it as a kid.

Well, sun this time of year is a wonderful thing as well.

Lilah getting into the Miller Highlife box.

Lilah on her birthday. The present is from Great-Grandma Sue. I had no idea what it was until I got it out of the box (still wrapped) and then the lightbulb went off over my head! Lilah had just woken up, and Will got the day off. I think I was more excited than Lilah was.

She was so entertained with just the bows. I kept putting them on her head, and she would take them off and try putting them on my head or the dog's head.
Ahhh! Raggedy Ann! She really had a good time pointing out her eyes and nose, and playing with her red yarny hair.

Giving Raggedy Ann kisses! Awww!

Birthday Girl - she loves those bows, they are still in her Huggies "toy chest".

Ohhh, of course Raggedy Ann! How awesome! The perfect gift. She sure looks cute with it.
Sorry we missed her big day, but glad we got to see her "almost" walking anyway.
She will be racing around the house before you know it. Just wait. Life is easy now..heh heh.
